Former Ghouls Suing Ghost's Papa Emeritus

Update: former guitarist Simon Söderberg has now issued a statement about the reasons behind the lawsuit and which Ghouls are involved.

After winning both U.S. and Swedish Grammy awards, sadly not all is well within the Ghost camp.

According to a story posted on Swedish site Corren.se, several former Nameless Ghouls are now suing Papa Emeritus of Ghost.

An excerpt from the article (translated to English so a bit is lost) reads as follows:

"Leader of the rock band Ghost of Linkoping sued by four of the band members. He is accused of having managed the stores around Ghost completely without insight from someone else in the band. It appears from a lawsuit Linköping District Court.

" Behind the mood is four musicians in the world famous, acclaimed and secret hard rock group Ghost. According to the lawsuit claims the Quartet (the partners) to:

* Court states that partnership exists between the five musicians
* Jointly conducts the music group Ghost
* Partnership agreement prescribes that the band leader to carry out the management of the company's operations.

"The four musicians behind the application also demand that the court should require the bandleader under penalty of SEK 200 000, or the amount that the court considers reasonable, the company reported revenues and expenses for the financial years 2011 to 2016 and that he also recognizes the company's assets at December 31, 2016. The reason for the lawsuit is missing wages and allowances for several years."

According to the full article, relations between the Ghouls and Papa Emeritus soured over the years, with complaints of missing payments and un-signable contracts that put the musicians into untenable positions. It's unclear just which of the Ghouls are involved in the lawsuit and what their real identities are at the moment.

Papa Emeritus has declined to comment on the lawsuit thus far, but a statement is expected to be forthcoming at some point.

Which ghouls are suing which Papa? This is the sort of confusion that is bound to ensue when people start to wear their independence like a crown. It is a long way down.

Well well , it fits the bands so called "stick" perfectly.
What did they expect? For there master to be fair , he's evil of course his gona take the money and run. "Sometimes darkness can show you the light . It's better to be a wolf than a sheep when your being led by the devil into the darkness. Can't even prove they where on tour ,wearing mask being nameless . The hell you follow catches up when the fire burns out .its a shame too cause what I see is the new ghouls suck . They don't have half the talent the original members have . And the new papa is a corn flake.

All bands are bands. What do they do? Play of course. You have to be perfect to be able to perform professionally. Every band is like a team of people who get paid a lot of money because a band is like a very expensive job to do. If not at all being paid well then they either play or they don't play at all. It doesn't matter how much your boss has. Your boss should have enough to get you to the top.
But as a matter of fact, I'd like and loved to be paid because I love the Ghost band if I was playing in the band.
Play anywhere. Depending on the country and playing there like here and there.

There will not be anymore satanical ghost gigs playing. Papa emeritus aka Tobias Forge might play again if he's lucky.
Ghost were never accepted to be formed as a band. Or never formed as a band.

I still like their music. So evil, satanical and extremely popular metal.

It's historical and cultural heritage and conservation and rapidly lyrication. So brilliantly introduced and made.
