In Flames Moved To Main Stage of Ozzfest 2005
Band Photo: In Flames (?)
It appears that, according to Ozzfest.com's bands page, In Flames have been moved from the second stage to the main stage now. While one mystery slot remains on the second stage and main stage, Velvet Revolver is expected to be that main stage "mystery band" from August 23rd to September 4th.

I only wish BLS opened mainstage, cause i don't care for them, but want to see Rob Zombie and In Flames and now they'll most likely overlap each other. At least In Flames will have a longer set, so I'll probably see more of them than if they were rotating anyway. Oh well, you can't have it all I guess.
We're excited over Ozzfest 05 personally my daughter and I think the line up is totally awesome EXCEPT for Iron Maiden sorry they need to run to the fckn hills and hide now we need Borgir back and hey whats wrong with VR I think they're pretty cool and anyone who don't like Rob Zombie has a screw loose AND I'm wicked excited over In Flames being in the line up now we need Evergrey that would complete it...I'm an old school rocker who appreciates new and old metal but some bands did...have...and always will S**K...oh BTW OZZY FCKN RULES!
i can't wait to see ozzfest. it is going to be great to SABBATH, MAIDEN, IN FLAMES, ARCH ENEMY, ROB ZOMBIE,THE HAUNTED and AS I LAY DYING. By the way that's good that in flames got moved to the main stage. It's where they should of been in the first place. YEAH f***IN OZZFEST!
feh.....Velvet Revolver probably won't get booed...often....so many ozzfest goers are radio listeners so they'll get a luke warm welcome i think...
depends i guess.....
they'll prolly play their asses off and stick to the heavier (if u can call it that) material to keep the crowd pleased....
while im not a big VR fan I like the histories and personas of the guys in the band. Maybe next album they'll gel a bit and put something out that has the heavy guitar crunch of STP and the viciousness of Guns.....possible but not likely.
To answer that dudes question about A Dozen Furies....they are awesome!! I've seen them play in dallas a few times.....i think they deserve it...they get to represent Dallas so it's all good!
Ok well I have not a clue which stage to go to because i'd like to see bands on both stages. It sucks! Choices Choices
