Bury The Rod Premieres "Conformed To Death" Lyric Video

Most in the metal scene are against conformity, but Austin, Texas group Bury The Rod is taking it a step further with the track "Conformed to Death!"

Culled from the band's "Harvest" EP, today we're stoked to bring you the exclusive premiere of a new lyric video for this killer song.

Check out the Scott Rudd-directed clip below, and if you like what you hear, the rest of "Harvest" is up for streaming at Bandcamp here.

Nik Kefalas (guitar, programming) also had this to say: "The track 'Conformed to Death' displays the range of aggression that this band represents. Lyrically, with our disdain towards the status quo and musically, showcasing the elements of the extreme music that we have grown to love. This song captures the essence of what Bury the Rod is."

The Texas five-piece caters to all lovers of aggressive music, blending aspects of groove with the blistering speed of death metal blast beats and tremolo picked riffs and a tinge of forceful breakdowns. Catch the band live on these upcoming dates:

2-27-17: Alterbeast, Depths of Hatred, Aenimus, Aethere - Grizzly Hall, Austin, TX
3-29-17: Angelmaker, Falsifier, Extortionist, Filth - Grizzly Hall, Austin, TX
Summer 2017 National Tour (Dates TBA)
