Canadian metal act Unleash The Archers released the latest album "Time Stands Still" back in June of 2015 via Napalm Records. Since then, the band has been on the road at a torrid pace in support the album, performing around the world, which included the annual ProgPower USA festival in Atlanta, GA in September of 2015.

Today, the band teamed up with MetalUnderground.com to premiere the new music video for the title track from that breakout release. Check out the clip, which was directed, edited and produced by Roderick Scobie, here:

Seems I've been pretty close with my assumption based on the trailer. Unfortunately, I'm not much wiser than before xD
The only definitive answer I could find is that you didn't stumble upon the chests by accident. You know exactly what's in it and prepare yourselves for the performance. However, leaving the cross dimensional doors as they are, a way to travel through time and space, there are still many aspects left unclear. Why have you been in different time periods? Have you been hiding, possibly from the eventual judgement? Or is it just to be seen as a metaphor, as in the band came together from very different places?

Now for the actual performance. The way I see it, it's not about the end of time and your fight for survival, but the passing on of "Heavy Metal" to the next generation. The three judges seem to represent the "fathers" of Metal. Shame on me, I only recognized Rob Halford, but the community quickly identified Tony Iommi and Dave Mustaine as well. Considering their musical past, you may effectively relate them to the beginning of Heavy Metal. However, the time has come to pass on the legacy and Unleash the Archers seem to boldly indicate that they are worthy of taking over.

If that's the case, then this video is absolutely brilliant and I completely agree with the last frame indicating the thumbs turning upwards for approval.
Unleash the Archers are incredible and I'm eagerly looking forward to their next project. I honestly believe that Brittney, Scott, Grant, Andrew and Nikko have a bright future ahead of them. Keep going guys and continue to do what you love, you're obviously very good at it :D
