Judas Priest Management Coordinator Jayne Andrews has issued the following statement: "Due to the very sad passing of the Pope, the Judas Priest show in Katowice on Wednesday, 6th April has had to be cancelled. This is totally beyond our control. The President of Poland has declared all entertainment venues must cancel their shows in respect of 5 days of mourning for the Pope. We will of course try and reschedule this show at a later date. Once we confirm any details we will announce them [on the band's official web site]."

And yeah, I agree, Priest should play later, the whole country is mourning the loss of not only the Pope, but a fellowcountryman that made it to the highest position a Catholic could ever be.

Yeah, it's just matter of stepping aside and letting the country mourn. The Pope was great, he's really connected with the younger people, getting them into something more positive. But he was a very peaceful guy.

Sex- I live near the New Mexico border, town called Denver City. Why?

Soccer is great. On that directv sports pack thing I get Fox's soccer channel(which is mostly U.S. teams) and I get a new channel called GOLTV! Which is all soccer, every country, from Italy to Brazil.

GOLTV rocks. Premiership Soccer is the best!!

sex- I totally agree with you on people making fun of Pope John Paul II because he's Catholic. I had a heated debate with my Sunday school teacher about that after class Sunday morning, because he seemed to think it was alright.

its people like that who are the biggest hypocrites, saying to love your fellow man and then bringing down someone who has different views or beliefs

EXACTLY!!

I know people who are like the Sunday school teacher that Morningstar mentioned, saying one religion is false and that theirs is supreme and right. Like Buddhism, I hear from Christians that Buddha is a false god and etc, while I see(from my own learning and actually, from the Pope and his toleration of other religions) that such is not the case for the followers of Buddhism.

I dont consider myself a religious person in the least, however you still have to recognize and respect the Pope's contribution to the world during his time. Anybody who doesn't understand this is obviously too young to be posting on these boards. Put aside the petty things you may miss out on and show respect for his passing.

I think it's because people don't know enough about other religions and that makes them think they are bad, and they don't respect them.
The Pope highly respected the Jewish communities in the world, and it was mostly in part because he knew the religion.
we should all follow his example, and try to learn as much as we can about other religions, and not smite them for just existing.

Another interesting thing is that Buddhism, Confucionism, Christianity, and the Jewish Faith all have accounts of the flood. They all have in history, especially the Chinese because their history books go back to like 5,000 B.C., all mention a flood that lasted 40 days.

Weird huh?

I'm not sure either, I haven't read that, I don't really like the Muslim religion because of their treatment of their women, but I guess I cna't say much about because I haven't studied about it or anything.

actually they treat women with a large amount of respect, if they "know their place" i guess. the koran is really quite peaceful, but lots of muslim people are illeterate so people like saddam can feed them lies that they will percieve as truth

"Allah", is the Muslim word for God.
yeah, women in the Muslin religion are actually treated with some,
but not very much, respect.
But it depends mostly on what kind of family they were born into.
For instance, at the funeral for the Pope this morning.
The guys that carried him to the basement of St. Peter's Basillica came from really respectable, good Roman Catholic families -and huge contrubitors to the church.
