New Album "Chaos From A Distance" Announced By Syron Vanes

Swedish traditional metal act Syron Vanes hooked up with Scandinavia’s premier rock and metal label Mighty Music. The Swedish band traveled to Copenhagen to meet with CEO Michael H. Andersen and the chemistry was there from the beginning. On January 27, 2017, the band will release the new album "Chaos From A Distance."

The album features 13 new songs of powerful, old school heavy metal, written and recorded over a period of 2 years. The new material is a mixture of faster and heavier songs which has always been a Syron Vanes hallmark.

Syron Vanes was one of the first bands emerging from Sweden inspired by the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal scene (NWOBHM). The band formed in 1980 and released two highly acclaimed classic albums in the eighties, the “Bringer Of Evil” from 1984 and “Revenge” from 1986.

Like other talented bands from that period of heavy metal, the big success never came and the band took a long break in the 90’s. In 2003 the comeback album “Insane” was released and the same year the band performed at Sweden Rock Festival. In 2007 the album “Property Of..” was released and quickly forgotten and it took the band seven years to release the “Evil Redux” album in 2014. The album was very well received by both critics and fans. The album was followed by a sold out UK tour together with Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel and Swedish gigs together with Sebastian Bach.

A tour will follow the album and with the current line-up no one will be disappointed. The band delivers and look forward to playing the new songs live.

The track list for the album is:

1. Gods Of War
2. Angelchild
3. Chaos From a Distance
4. Crucified
5. The Seventh Day
6. Trial By Spirit
7. Lies
8. Shape Of God
9. I Don't Wanna See You Die
10. Saints On Fire
11. Master Of Overkill
12. Ringside
13. Sleepwalking
