Konkhra Part With Guitarist

Danish extreme metallers KONKHRA have parted ways with guitarist Kim Mathieson. No reason was given for Mathieson's departure.

KONKHRA recently announced via their official web site that they will be taking the "first break in [the band's] 16-year history" due to "personal reasons." The group were said to be shopping a new demo/CD, "Persistence", containing the tracks "Strung Up by the Neck", "Sandblasted Soul" and "Faith Unpurified Me".

KONKHRA's latest CD, "Reality Check", was released in May 2003 through Code666 Records. The album was recorded at KONKHRA frontman Anders Lundemark's own Starstruck Studio and was the group's first since their split with longtime label Diehard Records.
