.Omission. has signed To Reflections Records and here is what the indie label had to say about the signing:

“Refuse regress” . In this time where the whole music scene suffers from complexity, subgenres and meaningless images a vacuum appeared. Unwritten laws dictating bands to find their own little niche, rehashing the same old story, pleasing their audience in serious need of something easy to digest. Music as a fastfood consumption. .OMISSION. might not be an exception on this phenomenon... However, the shell of image had to be cracked and the vacuum had to be filled.

Without falling into the schizofrenia the current music-scene is stuck in today, .OMISSION. blends their hardcore roots with a solid rock hook, resulting in sheer agression but based on groove. It isn't very often that dangerous rock could make a person feel so good as with .OMISSION.'s anthemic songs with their heartfelt content.

.OMISSION. started out as four tight friends who just wanted to rock out, free from any pretense but just to bring something new on the table. However, the immediate and lasting impression made on the Dutch hardcore crowd proved everbody that this new creature shouldn't go unnoticed. A small amount of demotapes were made although its demand exceeded all expectations, that's why the same recordings were re-released on a 7" with the help of Reflections Records. With their unique ability to fuse the explosive aspects of hardcore with catchy riffs .OMISSION. played the Netherlands extensively and gained quite some exposure to a wide audience. The rock solid connection of full-on mayhem and melody took a step further and is gonna be captured on their debut album entitled “Refuse Regress” . This product of a young band reflects their own strong identity they carved out by hard-hitting songs and relevant lyrical content, a symbiosis of uplifting sounds and heart-consuming despair.

To put it down shortly: We're very happy to, again, start working with a band we consider our friends. .OMISSION. is, in our humble opinion, one of the most promising bands in todays hardcore scene. The band will start recording next month and the expected release date for their debut album “Refuse Regress” is June 21, 2005.
