Ex-Morbid Angel Bassist Forms New Band Undercurrent
Former MORBID ANGEL bassist Steve Tucker has resurfaced in alternative rock band UNDERCURRENT. Tucker, who sings in the band, has also laid down his bass in exchange for a guitar, had this to say about his new outfit:
"Personally I think some of the best musicians in the world play or have played Death metal. But it is very limited emotionally, and I feel that I have gone beyond that emotional level. By no means is UnderCurrent anything near Death Metal. Now I want to do something that is real to me, something that is far more personal and UnderCurrent is definately that."
You can listen to three of their songs, 'Submission', 'Numb or Four', and 'Oneside' here.

I liek Morbid Angel, and would want to support in any way the members (or former members) of the band, but I can't say too much good about Undercurrent. They sound like a Tool copy. Listen to the songs, it's just like listening to Tool. Steve Tucker has even ripped off Maynard James Keenan's vocal style.
