R.U.S.T. To Continue As R.U.S.T.X, Streams New Track Revolution X

Greek traditional metal act R.U.S.T. will continue as R.U.S.T.X and are streaming the new track "Revolution X" (heard in the player below).

R.U.S.T. formed in 2003 (known then as Flames in Ice) with the purpose of playing traditional 80's Heavy Metal following the footsteps of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Warlord, Savatage, Stormwitch and Riot. R.U.S.T. has been an live active band on the island of Cyprus and Europe for many years now. In addition, the band is the proud co-organizer (along with Hardraw and the rest of the P.O.T.N. Crew) of the annual Power of the Night Metal Festival.

In the summer of 2007 R.U.S.T. released the first demo EP "Rust" at the 2nd Power of the Night Festival. In 2010, the band released its first single, "Metal Child" followed by the debut full length "Forged in the Fire of Metal” in 2011.

In 2014, Tasos (Vocals) and Adamos (guitars) split with the band for personal reasons and the band went on hiatus. In 2014, R.U.S.T.X was born, consisting of George Xanthou (bass), Panayiotis Xanthou (guitars) and Johnny Xanthou (drums), along with new vocalist Katerina Xanthou. Katerina's addition marks a new era for the band, as all the members are siblings.

"Revolution X" is expected to be included on an upcoming new album. More information is expected soon. Check it out here:
