Connecticut metal act As Darkness Dies (f/k/a Graven Image) has signed on with Pure Steel Records for the release of the new album "Life Incomplete." The album was produced by Mike Vescera (Obsession, ex-Yngwie Malmsteen) and will be released later this year (date TBA). A preview clip for the album can be heard at this location.

The band issued the following statement about the signing: "As Darkness Dies (ADD) are pleased to have signed with 'Pure Steel Records' from Germany. This culminates a lot of hard work and effort by the band and our producer Michael Vescera guiding us every step along the way. To go from local band to being a signed band is something every musician dreams of; we have been given that chance, and opportunity. Art is art regardless of the medium, and to have the chance to get it onto a world stage is something every artist hopes and dreams about. We are looking forward to the future, and looking back on the past, and how and where it all started, a couple of guys playing music just hoping they were good enough for people to like what it is that they are putting together.

"Here’s to all the possibilities, aspirations and dreams, and to giving people something they can hold on too. Music is more powerful than any other force in life because it sums up everything in life. And we all love that one song. Here’s to music, here’s to all it can bring out in each and every one of us."
