Freqs TV Releases New "And Justice For Art" Mini-Documentary About Metal Album Covers

On-the-rise online channel, FreqsTV recently premiered a new short film about the making of the book “And Justice For Art: Stories About Heavy Metal Album Covers.”

You can see the 4-minute documentary below. It's narrated by the book’s author, Ramon Oscuro Martos, who discusses details about his 264-full color volume and also comments about the current and future situation of album covers.

“As a longtime Metal head and collector of Metal books, I was delighted to see someone had finally taken the time to do a proper book on metal cover art,” says the doc's director, Randy Salo. “I hope that this video can help further the reach of “…And Justice for Art” and brings this exhaustive work into the limelight. Honestly, this book is definitely for those metal heads who want to see the legacy of cover art preserved.”

“And Justice For Art: Stories About Heavy Metal Album Covers” features more than 400 graphics and 100 band/artist interviews. It's available exclusively via BigCartel
