George Kollias Streaming New Track "Buried Under The Flames"

Nile drummer extraordinaire George Kollias is now presenting another brand new track taken from his forthcoming debut solo-album "Invictus." The epic song "Buried Under The Flames" (featuring guitarist Mike Papadopoulos) is streaming below. George Kollias comments:

"'Buried under the Flames' is one of my favourite songs and the slowest on this record. It feels very emotional and sad with an intense ending, and therefore I see it as a great introduction to my work. I wanted to add some Greek elements without touching on the same subjects that everyone uses. This inspired me to use the beautiful choir, which fits the track like a glove. Mike Papadopoulos contributes the guitar solo and it is one of the finest that I’ve ever heard! I could not think of any better song to close the album in such an epic way!"

New album "Invictus" is slated for release on the 18th of May (one day later in North America). The track listing is:

1. Echoes Of Divinity
2. Invictus
3. The Passage
4. Aeons Of Burning Galaxies
5. Shall Rise/Shall Be Dead
6. Voices
7. Treasures Of Nemesis
8. Apocalypse
9. Epitaph
10. Through Empty Eyes Of Light
11. Buried Under The Flames

Mike Papadopoulos? Didn't he adopt an orphaned kid back in the 80's? Oh wait, that was George. No, not George Kollias. George Papadolpoulos.

Seriously, the song is pretty killer. I like the way the chorus starts things off, and the main guitar riff has a lot of energy to it. Indeed, a great track to close the album.
