In just a little over a month, Withering Soul will paint the "Adverse Portrait" and distribute it via Mortal Music.

June 9th can't come soon enough, but to tide you over until the official album unveiling, today we're teamed up with the haunted black metal outfit to release an advance track. Check out "No Longer Within" in the player below.

"Adverse Portrait" is the third full-length from the Chicago band and follows 2011 release, "No Closure." The upcoming album features guest vocals from Steve Sagala (ex-Enforsaken) on “No Longer Within" and was engineered and mixed by Chris Wisco at Belle City Sound, and mastered by Dennis Israel at Clintworks Audio.

Cover art was handled by Pierre-Alain D of 3mmi Design, and the "Adverse Portrait" track listing is as follows:

01. Vestige
02. No Longer Within
03. The Dreadful Echo
04. Awakening
05. Hour Of Obstinacy
06. Hex Illusion
07. Shadow Path
08. In Abscence
