Varg Vikernes Releases Fantasy RPG Myfarog

I've utterly failed you Metalunderground readers - despite having books from just about every RPG system in existence and having an unending love for metal, I had absolutely no idea that Burzum's Varg Vikernes actually had his own professional role playing system out and in print, titled Myfarog ("Mythic Fantasy Roleplaying Game").

Unfortunately it looks like you can only get it at this French website and its not available through any of the usual suspects like Amazon or Drive Thru RPG.

A review of the game can be seen below, and you watch Mr. Vikernes himself describing the rules in great detail at the Myfarog website.

So, are any of the characters within the game named Øystein Aarseth?
Sounds like a lot of work to escape from reality into a fictional board game where you create a new universe left up to the role of the dice. Never could get into RPG's.

I can't stop chuckling at the guy doing the review.
Here he is in a fairly elaborate costume that must have taken some effort to make, much less put on. Yet the setting appears to be in his spare room that he couldn't be bothered to clean. I mean come on, if you want to put on that aura of a warrior/Viking/whatever, at least put some effort into making the background match. If you can put together (or buy) that costume, you can make or purchase a decent backdrop.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, or maybe there are other explanations for the idiosyncrasy.
A. It's not his house. He's one of the rare vikings who podcast before they plunder.

B. He had to whip this little (34 minutes!) review quickly before heading out to wage war at the Ren Faire.

C. The outfit was purely coincidental. It was laundry day.

D. Those are his normal clothes, in his normal room, talking about his normal day to day activities.

E. He's really just some regular guy on a semi pro soccer team who lost a bet, and this was his punishment.

And while i'm here I may as well pick the low hanging fruit. I wonder if Vargs interest in role playing started in prison?
