Megadeth Welcomes Angra Guitarist Kiko Louriero

Well, its official. The rumored replacement for outgoing guitarist Chris Broderick has been confirmed as Angra's Kiko Louriero.
Mainman Dave Mustaine commented: "I first met Kiko around 8 years ago for a cover shoot for Burrn! magazine. I had no idea who he was, other than the fact he was tremendously talented and that the staff from Burrn! held him in high regard. Since then I've come to see what a guitar virtuoso he is, and I'm deeply encouraged by his depth and talent. Very few Megadeth alumni have had the same feel and ability as Kiko. As Frank Sinatra says, 'the best is yet to come!'"
Louriero becomes the 10th second guitarist for the band. Recently, Mustaine announced that Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler will replace Shawn Drover as a "guest." Drover and Broderick recently teamed up to form the new band Act of Defiance.

I have to admit, the prospect of Kiko Loureiro and Chris Adler both being used to their strengths is a very interesting direction to imagine Megadeth going in. It's about time we hear something totally different from them and I don't mean Risk II.
