Twisted Sister guitarist Jay Jay French has reported that drummer A.J. Pero passed away. The cause of death is not yet known.
On his Facebook Page, French reported: "The members of Twisted Sister are profoundly saddened to announce the untimely passing of our brother, A.J. Pero.
"The band, crew and most importantly the family of A.J. Pero thank you for your thoughts and prayers at this time."
Pero played with Twisted Sister from 1982-1986, 1997-1998 and 2003-present, having appeared on all but one release ("Love Is For Suckers," 1987). He also appeared on the classic Cities album from 1986 - "Annihilation Absolute." In addition, Pero has performed on the latest two Adrenaline Mob releases: "Men of Honor" (2014) and this year's EP "Dearly Departed."
More information on his untimely death is expected soon.

I am sadden by the passing of AJ Pero, he was a dear friend of mine and I will miss him dearly. I produced a film called Red Right Wrong, which he starred in recently. This is a great loss for me he was a natural star and has been a good friend. My condolences go out to his friends and family and to the band Twisted Sister and Adrenaline Mob. AJ Pero will never be forgotten and will remain the greatest drummer of all times.
