Rhapsody Announce New Single

Rhapsody has just confirmed that they will enter the recording studio together with film legend Christopher Lee, to re-record the song "The Magic Of The Wizard's Dream" from their latest release "Symphony Of Enchanted Lands II - The Dark Secret." The single will be released worldwide early next year (2005).

The song will be produced in four different languages (English, German, French and Italian) and will feature a duet by Mr. Lee and Rhapsody singer Fabio Lione. Besides offering multiple versions of the song, such as an orchestral version, two brand new studio tracks will be included. More details about the two new tracks will be released shortly.

Record producer and Manowar bassist Joey DeMaio will once again be executive in charge of production and will produce the single featuring Mr. Lee’s vocal performance. In addition to production credits with Manowar, DeMaio has produced recordings with the legendary Orson Welles and previous recordings with Christopher Lee.

Rhapsody has been successful for the past seven years and has sold more than one million records throughout the world. The band is signed to Magic Circle Music in cooperation with SPV. The current album "Symphony Of Enchanted Lands II - The Dark Secret" has been critically acclaimed worldwide. It has received tremendous response from fans around the world and has entered sales charts in nearly every major market in the world. This album was the beginning of the fruitful collaboration with Christopher Lee. On the album, Mr. Lee guides the listener through the saga as the narrator in the role of a wizard king. "Symphony Of Enchanted Lands II - The Dark Secret" features 12 tracks with more than 72 minutes of epic film-score metal.
