Euphonia Presents New Track, "Breathless" as Standalone Single

Euphonia, the new atmospheric prog rock project created by To-Mera founder members Julie Kiss and Tom MacLean, are proud to present their new single, "Breathless," streaming from their Bandcamp.

This is a standalone single and, as such, not part of a forthcoming album or EP. Euphonia first released "Untamed" to the world on April 30th, making it the first post-Haken release from MacLean. The song also boasted MacLean's former Haken bandmate Diego Tejeida on keyboards. This song can be accessed at their Bandcamp as well.

The music, altogether, is relatively uncharted territory for the duo of MacLean and Kiss, although elements of it are naturally reminiscent of the more atmospheric side of To-Mera. Most notably, the songs evoke a sonic environment similar to what composer Hans Zimmer conjured up for the 'limbo' scenes of Christopher Nolan's landmark film, "Inception" -- a sense of cold grandeur, with a touch of warmth and yearning.
