Shadows Fall To Sign With Major Label?

According to Hits Daily Double, label reps from Hollywood, Epic, RCA, Capitol and others showed up for the SHADOWS FALL concert last week at the House of Blues on Sunset. The Syndicate-repped group has reportedly fulfilled its commitment to current label Century Media. The band's latest album, "The War Within", debuted in the Top 20 on the album chart. Legal eagle Saguit Saad is said to be mediating the negotiations.

SHADOWS FALL are currently on a co-headlining North American tour with DAMAGEPLAN. Also appearing on the bill are THE HAUNTED

i liked 'art of balance', but the new one just didnt do it for me. sounded like they were trying to capture the sound of 'balance' but in different songs. kinda weak.

I disagree....though Art of Balance was a better all around album, The War Within is just as punishing and they deserve all they receive. Of One Blood was probably the best of them all......check that one out if you havent already

I think I enjoyed Art Of Balance and War Within equally. "Art" was slightly better overall, but some of ShadowsFall strongest moments ("The Light that Blinds", "Power of I and I" among 2 or 3 other gems whose titles I just cant recall) were on War Within. More power to em if a major picks em up, just gives them a larger sum of money to make an awesome record. If they have the same ethic as Lamb Of God things should be just fine.

Shadows Fall kick mad a$$ their 2nd, 3rd and 4th albums are all amazing. the one before with the first singer wasnt all that great. But good thing bout all this is seeing that Major Label's are starting to give Metal bands a chance again.

Yea, I love the new Lamb of God cd. It kicks ass. PorcupineOpeth99-well put (about the LoG ethics), I think these switches to major labels will show us which metal bands have got the balls to stick with playing real metal (such as the previously mentioned Lamb of God).

ok shadows fall new cd is awsome. Some of the best solos are on this cd, the art of balance holds a slight edge over the new one. I think they are doing fine under century media so i dotn think they should move at all. If i was having my look for a label i would pick centruy media cause they a true metal label nothing else. Well shoadows fall did let their record label listen to the war within until it was finished said but the the singer Oh by the way the new lamb of god is less then amazing. the cd is gets boring real quick compared to as the palaces burn, but i dont think this had anything to do with the record label. OH but the way the news is that shadows fall and lamb of god are going out of tour with slipknot spring 2005
