Slipknot Posts "The Negative One" Music Video

Band Photo: Slipknot (?)
Slipknot is gearing up to release a fifth full-length album, and the band just recently dropped first single "The Negative One."
Now a music video for the track has been released, which was directed by M. Shawn Crahan himself and produced by The Uprising Creative. Check it out in the player below.
You can also pick up a digital copy of the single at iTunes here. The band has not yet revealed who handled the drumming duties on the track, and further details on the album are still forthcoming.
This upcoming release will be the band's first since the death of Paul Gray and the departure of Joey Jordison.

Gonna go the route of my user name. It's been stated that this song is not the official first single for the album. That's coming soon. All this is supposed to be "for the fans" and junk.
I know that's a cheap and roundabout way of trying to build up excitement for the album, but them's the breaks. I certainly don't agree with that kind of b.s. statement, but I generally enjoy Slipknot's music.
So really, to take this seriously and think it's a music video for a song released as a single and go about bashing it shows just how gullible some people are.
I could go on about the elitism that this place shows in it's many glaring forms as well, but I'll save that for another time.

Very bland and way too long song, yeah it's not a "single" rubbish, but it's still what the band have chosen to be representative of the album, regardless of who it's for. They need to get a producer with the balls to tell them that this is un-imaginative and that they've grown generic and predicable in what they do. Video was promising for about 30 sec's but then got repetitive (wait, there's a theme here) and boring.
