"some music was meant to stay underground..."

Renowed artist and Bloodstock Festival creator, Paul Gregory talks about Rock & Metal Museum

Legendary painter, illustrator and Bloodstock Festival organizer, Paul Raymond Gregory (Saxon, Blind Guardian, Dio), recently embarked on the creation of what he calls "a permanent venue for Art and Music." We're talking about Bloodstock's Rock And Metal Museum and Gallery which will take place during the next edition of the acclaimed three-days festival from August 7 - 10 2014 at Catton Park, UK.

"I’m a great believer that one thing can lead to another if you can be bothered to connect the dots," Gregory comments. "I started my journey with fantasy art many years ago, way back in the 70’s. In 2000 I became co-founder of Bloodstock festival, this again was as a direct consequence of my artwork. I believe now nearly fourteen years from the festival's inception is a good time to take my next journey."

Bloodstock's Rock And Metal Museum and Gallery will showcase some of Gregory's most acclaimed pieces. It will also promote art from other artists including Cynosure Guitars promoting and presenting their unconventional instruments, known as “functional art”.
