Visceral Disgorge Brings Back Former Member Eric V

Guitarist Steve Rosenzweig from Visceral Disgorge passed away last month, and now the band has checked in with the following update about the status of the group:

"It has been over a month since the unfortunate passing of our guitarist Steve Rosenzweig. Many of you showed concern about the future of the band after his death.

"His passing did however bring past and present members closer together. With that being said, we would like to welcome back another original and one of the founding members who left the band a while back for some personal reasons. Eric V helped mold the VD sound and contributed greatly to the writing, pre-production and in the studio during the recording of 'Ingesting Putridity.'

"Of course we were set back with the passing of Steve, but Visceral Disgorge is trying hard and determined to get back on track. We are still currently working on brand NEW material for another album to be released hopefully sometime in 2015. 'Ingesting Putridity' is on schedule to be released on limited color/splatter vinyl this September.

"At this time we are not focusing on booking anything but will consider 'one off' out of town gigs or festivals by promoters request. Keep your eyes and ears open for upcoming news on new merch, vinyl release and availability, new label and how the sickening new material is coming along!"
