The Contortionist Streaming New Song "Language I: Intuition"

The Contortionist has debuted a brand new single titled "Language I: Intuition," the first half of the title track from upcoming LP "Language," due out September 16th, 2014.

“Conceptually, the song highlights the intuitive nature that stems from the creative process itself,” says guitarist Cameron Maynard. This is the first new material heard from the band since the release of "Intrinsic" in 2012.

The band also shot an all new music video for the track with Corey Norman at Bonfire Films, which will be debuted very soon.

The band will release a new full length via eOne Music / Good Fight Music. The Contortionist tapped producer Jamie King (Between The Buried and Me) to produce at The Basement Recording Studio in Winston-Salem, NC.

"Making this record from start to finish was quite an experience," says guitarist Robby Baca. "From the initial attempts at songwriting to the tracking sessions with Jamie, it's an experience that I cant wait to share with everyone."

"Language" will be the third LP installment from the band and first with new vocalist Michael Lessard who offers, "I'm beyond happy to share this album with people! The experience and result are something I'm proud to have been a part of. I think this album will show how we've all progressed as writers and players."

The album's track listing is as follows:

1. The Source
2. Language I: Intuition
3. Language II: Conspire
4. Intergration
5. Thrive
6. Primordial Sound
7. Arise
8. Ebb & Flow
