writing is underway? damn, thought they were further along, how about some new Old Man's Child while we wait? But noooo, instead Shagrath craps out more Chrome Division, that's why we have Motorhead good sir.

the more time they take to make the record the better, nothings worse than a band rushing out new material, fans for the most part know the DB has changed its sound for a few reasons, that being said it doesn't mean they are crap now it just means they have evolved as a group, personally I have liked all their records with the exception of the last one but even that one had a couple good songs on there.
true fans stick to their bands and support them regardless, halfassers and posers will b**** and whine about bands and that's because they weren't true fans of the band to begin with and those so called fans should keep their pieholes shut.
borgir has done great work in the past, anytime a new record comes out there will be interest in it regardless what a lot of these internet f***os say.
I miss the old days as well but have accepted that the direction has changed and im ok with it.
