Former Carcass bassist/vocalist Jeff Walker is currently working on an album of country and blues covers. Among the artists he's recording are Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and John Denver. A number of top names are helping him with the as yet untitled project, including HIM's Ville Valo (vocals) and Gas (drums), plus one-time Carcass bandmate Bill Steer (guitar). Walker also hopes to get in Cathedral frontman Lee Dorrian, former Faith No More bassist Bill Gould, ex-Carcass drummer Ken Owen and Anathema. Neither a label nor a release date have yet been set.
