Australian progressive metal quintet Voyager has launched a guitar playthrough video for the new song, "Breaking Down," taken from the band's upcoming album, "V," which is due out June 3rd (with distribution through Nightmare Records). The video is streaming below, courtesy of Guitar World.

"Scott [Kay, rhythm guitar] and I just sat down and picked out the meatiest riffs and our best solos on the album to share with all our guitar-loving fans out there," lead guitarist, Simone Dow, told GuitarWorld.com. "Good melody, build-up/anticipation and a lot of wide vibrato is my key to writing solos. Hope you all enjoy!"

The Kickstarter-funded, 13- track album "V" can be pre-ordered now at Bandcamp here. "V" was recorded at Templeman Audio with producer Matt Templeman. The band calls the release "heavy, groovy and super-catchy. This is going to be pure, polished Voyager with a modern feel; we are insanely excited about unleashing this."
