Opeth's "Cusp Of Eternity" Single Release Pushed Back

Update: Roadrunner and Opeth have now released a statement about the delay and announced the album is being pushed back to August. Check it out right here.
In a press release sent out last month by Roadrunner Records, it was announced that "Cusp of Eternity" - the first single off Opeth's new album "Pale Communion" - would be released along with album pre-order info on May 6th, 2014.
Obviously that date has come and passed without the single coming online, and fans are not happy about it. Every post on the Roadrunner Records Facebook page is filled with dozens of not-so-nice comments from Opethians (and I'd say it's a good bet none of them are buying that Black Stone Cherry album RR keeps posting about....) that range from "I always did dislike your company. I'm sure this type of crap dosen't happen with Nickelback" to threats to pirate the album when it is released, on to amusing Opeth lyric references like "I don't know how or why, and I'll never know WHEN..."
There's been no official statement yet from either Roadrunner or Opeth, but rumors are circling that the original June 17th release date for "Pale Communion" is being pushed back to the end of the Summer. Stay tuned for further details when an official announcement is made available.
Are you looking forward to the new album, and what you think of the lead single being pushed back without an explanation?
