I CAN'T HELP BUT WONDER WHAT THIS WOULD SOUND LIKE WITH KK DOWNING ON IT. HALFORD STICKS TO HIS NEW COMFORTABLY LOWER OCTAVE RANGE, WITH NO SCREAMS OR SHRIEKS FROM THE METAL GOD TO BE HEARD. I LIKE THE ALBUM ART, BUT WAS HOPING FOR ANOTHER MECHANICAL MONSTROSITY LIKE WHAT IS FEATURED ON "SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE" AND "DEFENDERS OF THE FAITH". INSTEAD WE HAVE A SORT OF PINHEAD DEMON/ ANGEL WITHOUT THE PINS. THE SONG AND ALBUM ARTWORK SPEAK TO ME REGARDLESS, WITH WHAT PROMISES TO BE ANOTHER EPIC POWER FANTASY PLATTER FROM ONE OF THE PIONEERS OF THE GENRE. FIRST DAY BUYER HERE. \M/

I like the song. Will def buy album. I'm a fan of the lower vocal register in the vein of the classic albums. Is there some relationship between this album cover and Sad Wings ?? May be a stretch.

Reminds me of old school Priest, like on "SIN AFTER SIN" & "STAINED CLASS" (without the high-pitch shrills you expect from Halford). Overall another PRIEST MASTERPIECE!!!!

Alright, so I've been waiting years for this. Since Nostradamus. In a way, almost since Angel Of Retribution since Nostradamus was a concept and not exactly what Priest normally crank out. AOR was an amazing comeback album and that album had so much punch to it. Even the key singles off their last record had punch as well.
This song just doesn't have that same punch. It DEFINITELY sounds like classic Priest which I'm down for......but it doesn't have the punch I dunno. I'm absolutely gonna wait for final judgement when the rest of the album come out, cause I'm sure they'll be better songs on the record. I'm gonna spin this a few more times for sure though, just because it's new Priest and.....god I'd missed them.
