Im looking for some new black metal bands im just getting into black metal so i know older bands like Mayhem, Immortal, Burzum, Emperor, Darkthrone and Satyricon but i need some newer material not that theres anthing wrong with those bands i just want to get into some newer more fresh material and i find the older stuff getting kinda old and stale. If you could give me some good recomedations it would be much apreciated.

Lord Belial is the only one I can think ov that isnt obvious or said already.

Rotting Christ I have to second though...real great band form like China, or one of those gook countries with the tsunamis and the pandas.

Now Playing: Wormrot- Born Stupid (finally! a grind band as badass as pig destroyer! also from gookland)

I like the dreamy sound of funeral pyre, withered, and liturgy

Hell yeah fireflyz! Liturgy is friggin awesome. You should check out Lantlos and Alcest. They arent 100% black metal but they are awesome. Alcest is very dreamy. Their new album "Ecailles de Lune" is one of the most beautiful albums Ive ever heard.

PS: Withered kicks ass too! I havent heard Funeral Pyre but Ill do so very soon.

Shining is good choice
They are more similar to first wave of black metal than any other new bands.they are similar to Mayhem
There are lots of one man BM bands like
Ruins of Beverast
Xasthur
silencer
annal nathrakh

The last one is not one man band
