Tell you another legend in this genre... Slick Rick. The man is a genius!

I don't mind some Hip-Hop stuff, but I'm much more into Trip-Hop, generally. The Herd are a great act, you would've heard of Tribe Called Quest before. Those two are my favs at the moment, but there's always some great new stuff comin up. I'm getting into Grime artists a lot lately, Wiley and so on.

Anyone heard about MCA from the Beastie Boys? He's been diagnosed with cancer and is having surgery on it next week. They've delayed their new album and cancelled their tour dates. Heavy shit. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say I wish him a quick recovery.

WHAT!?!? Slick Rick was the shit back in the day!

I didn't realize the Beastie Boys were coming out with a new album. Hope they go back to the "Check Your Head" stuff. That was a great album, but the again, Ill Communication is an absolute classic.

I loved Licensed To Ill and there was quite a bit on Hello Nasty and To The 5 Boroughs that I enjoyed too. They've never done a bad album in my opinion and are definitely one of my favorite Hip-Hop acts, if not my favourite.
