I listened to the first Ducks against the Sabres on my lunch break last week. From the broadcast it sounded like the Ducks were flat and got creamed by Buffalo. I am not sure if they Ducks will make the palyoffs this year as they kind of are rebuilding, but I'll be supporting them either way. Have not watched much hockey as the baseball playoffs were the only sports I watched last week. Speaking of Buffalo, they have spend a lot of money to try and be a threat this year. New owners are all about winning, which is cool because I always thought of Buffalo as an NHL town without ever having a good team to get behind. Wolf- I really stoked for Europe to get a piece of the NHL action last year. Seeing NHL hockey is one of the most thrilling experiences in the world. BlindGreed- Pronger is back, right? Sigh ! R10, just another beauty move in the John Ferguson junior regime. Rask for Razor for 2 years....... dont get me going on that one again. Buffalo is looking real good so far, they figuered out you need a pp Quarterback to win cups not just an all world goalie. I watched that Asham vs Beagle fight lastnight in the Caps Pens game and wow! that kid Beagle is in bad shape knocked out and fucked up jaw. All the guys on the panel were ripping Asham etc.. but i dont know! its a tough spot to be in as a vet who was clearly going to help Letang out with a 4th line grinder in Beagle. What if Beegs knocked out Asham ? nobody would have said a word about it. Sorry for the rant, Aaron Ward was up in arms on the pannel lastnight and i cant stand him as a color guy, hell! Domi wasnt as bad and he only lasted a couple weeks. |

Ill have to head over to hockeyfights to catch that scrap,Olaf. I see Grapes is coming under fire up your way for calling out Grimson,Nilan, etc. Head shots gotta go,but Shannys gonna harm the sport, fining guys so much, suspending them for so many games. I mean i dont wanna watch Euro hockey. Hitting and scrapping are part of the game. Bruins struggling, didnt show up against Colorado. Juliens gotta crack the whip. Stanley hangover im afraid. Its so tough to repeat. You should see how good Seguin looks, holy shit. Differant player than last year,we got a star in the making. Hopefully Julien lets him develop, doesnt restrict him like he did with Kessel. |

Caught that Asham/Beagle scrap. Nighty night Beagle. No solid food for six weeks. I hate when guys wear shields in fights like Beagle did. Last year Big Mac McIntyre broke some dudes face in Calgary. Similar to the Beagle fight. All time,i remember Joe Kocur ko'd Brad Delgano, broke his orbital bone. Delgarno was never the same after that. You see an injury like that maybe once a season. No where as bad as the knee on knee or headshot stuff. Think Shawn Thorntons got a score to settle tonite in Chicago, look to see him dance with somebody. Maybe Carcillo. B's gotta get thier heads out of thier asses. Playing like crap! |

Yea Branded,Canes aint to bad. They got a future star in the Skinner kid,and a great goalie in Cam Ward. Not sure if they got enough fire power to make the playoffs or not. Time will tell. Thing they're playing my Bruins tues. night. Canes used to play in Hartford Ct. as the Whalers. I used to go to about 8-10 Whale games a year. Every Bruin/Whale matchup. I kinda miss the Whalers. |

Ovi must die? I dunno if I'd say that but he definitely needs a right good kick in the pants. I'm starting to think that guy is just holding back on purpose cuz he wants to get rid of Boudreau, him and Semin. Actually the Caps really needs to get rid of Semin that guy is such a floater, probably the guy with the most talent who does the least with it. |
