Psythe, you should be glad that you live nowhere near me, especially for that comment :)

I do know that people tend to be surprised that a female can listen to more extreme metal, not just poppy sounding stuff and clear vocal power metal and classic metal or anything like that. Or, that women don't get into metal because their boyfriend likes it.

Does anyone else here love going to metal shows and being as "un-metal" as they can be? Whenever I go to a metal show I always ending rapping as loud as I can throughout the whole show, I usually wear a rap shirt to a local show too because they throw a tantrum about it.

Diamond Oz: Heh heh it sounds strange that one would be "un-metal" at a Metal gig. Physically speaking that is un-metal (with you rapping), but in it's core, it's sort of Metal because you're purposely trying to get a reaction from people (by wearing rap t-shirts). It's a beautiful paradox, lol.

Hmmm..well let's see.
- I absolutely love Blink 182/Rise Against ( and many other punk/pop punk bands).
- Not to fond of mosh pits or being in the center when one erupts.
- I DO NOT DRINK BEER ( rant away =P ).

Seeing Ronnie Munroe live. That was on Saturday, and my ears still hurt! I walk away from black metal shows with no problems, but Ronnie Munroe and his poorly done over the top voacals killed me, and my friend Joe to the point we left maybe 4 songs in.

I also like Green Day and went to see them at Milton Keynes bowl in 2005 (the one they made a DVD of).

Oh and I love Status Quo.

Oooh! This will really take the cake!

I have... a personalised Cliff Richard pillow! A friend of mind bought as a joke present last Christmas and I decided to keep it. It has a picture of Cliff Richard and next to that is a big heart that reads "Ozzy Loves Cliff". Thanks for that Harry you bastard!

*LOL* Diamond, my lil bro Dave gave me an ugly yellow beanie with red racer stripes on it for my bday last year. He got it as he knew it was the polar opposite of my style, and as a gag gift. It was his "un-metal gift" to me.

Aug 4, 2009 9:24 PM ET #118 (permalink)

That sounds awesome! It's Hulk Hogan colours! A dream of mind is to dress up like Hulk Hogan and walk around town centre mimicking him while holding a boom box that plays his theme song over and over and over again.

I've seen Green Day twice. I even have one those those little pink Green Day bunnies.

I am so NOT metal, it's not even funny.
