Yes, all of your mentioned contributors are spot on to your assessment as well as Ty of course. I also miss Cynic and Remember Metal?, but I think they were before your time. There are very few here that suck, I just don't go in for the copy and paste from the press release and add your playlist bullshit. Even if you stop the playlist before it reaches the next song, you've padded his playlist with a click and I think that's bullshit. |

Sunday Old School will be back with a vengeance as soon as I can use the internet at home and not rely on free WiFi from local pubs. Buick was alright if you like hearing about New Orleans and nothing else. I think it's poor writing to write articles in an accent, save that for blogs. Criticism aside, I had no beef with her personally. I really don't want to get in to who I like either as writers or people because it's really unprofessional. Ty is the best thing to happen to this site since Deathbringer created it (who himself creates some fantastic content and articles and is one of the hardest working people I know... Can I have that raise please boss? :P) Cynic and RememberMetal? still pop up in the comments here and there but I also wish they'd write some more for the site because they're both very articulate. Cynic is in a band called Orphans of Dusk who I'm pretty sure got signed last year. Really good doom metal if you want to check them out. |

Also, I think DeathCrush, if anyone remembers him, was one of the very few writers to be sacked from the site and with good reason. Namely he was absolute wank. Bands he interviewed complained about him (reading them will give a good idea why) and when he was released he bitched for months about it, giving it the whole "I'm gonna start my own site!" shit. |

Uhhh... Yeah, I remember DeathCrush. I'm certain I was the beginning of the end for him. It was a prank that we were going to pull for April Fools that he took very seriously. Lol. There was massive amounts of poo to be cleansed from the walls of the mighty MU that year. 2006 if i'm not mistaken? |

How come MU didn't pick up the story on the drummer from COC? COC will continue their tour with Chris Adler and someone else I can't recall ATM as the COC drummer seized last night prior to taking the stage due to drug and alcohol abuse. I shared it on my timeline Oz. |

Well, shit! I hate to hear that. Reed has been one of my favorite drummers and it gives me a heavy heart to hear his alcohol problem has gotten so bad. From the articles I read, Clutch drummer Jean Paul Gaster is the other drummer filling in with Chris Adler, since they're all on the same tour. Pepper said they weren't taking him back unless he agreed to rehab (I guess this happened on the last tour too). Must have come to an agreement. I like Reed too. Saw him earlier this year when they rumbled through with Clutch, but he did look pretty faded that night. |

What the hell happened??? Such a shock! As an 'immigrant' myself, this is just shit :( I probably have to get married now to stay here! Thanks a lot Boris! U have Irish ties Oz? R u entitled to an Irish passport then? My mum is from Belfast so that's no good! My dad is Scottish so if they leave the Uk, I guess I can go that route. But that's a whole other can of worms! On a much more positive note, Rotting Christ were so fucking incredible! It was 40°C inside the gig and 100°C in my pants!!! |

Great to hear Rotting Christ were so good. I think they're only doing one Spanish show but that's way up in Barcelona if I remember rightly. My grandparents are from Dublin and Waterford so I qualify as a descendant. Boris can get fucked. He was never an Outer to begin with, just made a play for Cameron's job is all. That island is going to be a smoking pile of shit very soon. |
