Bring on Twente

Sep 29, 2010 4:47 PM ET #477 (permalink)

Tottenham 4 - 1 Fc Twente

gotta love it when a ref fucks up and it goes in your teams favour. Gotta love it more when he does it constantly through out 90 minutes.

OZMAN probably remembers this.

Maybe about 10 years ago? When two teams were playing (can't remember the teams).
One of the teams threw it in from about midfield to the goal keeper, he (gaol Keeper)let it roll over his foot and chased after it. it went into the back of the net and the goal was allowed.

Anyone remember that?

What the fuck was that!? I mean... what the fuck...?!

Oct 13, 2010 5:12 AM ET #481 (permalink)

Oz..

It was "the best England has to offer" playing like a bunch of cunts against a nation who havent existed for 25 years

Great result for Montenegro, England players aint fit to wear the shirt. Not the guys on debuts and the players who are only there due to other injuries.... but Gerrard, Roony etc... Wankers all of them
Cappello should select me for the next match. I'd play with more heart and desire to win than any of those tossers

Shameful mate, absolutely disgraceful.

Oct 13, 2010 3:50 PM ET #483 (permalink)

I guess it's a good thing that they aren't playing the games here yet?

Oct 14, 2010 5:58 AM ET #484 (permalink)

the only good thing about the England game is that we didnt do a scotland and play a 4-6-0 formation with no strikers...

everything else was pathetic

They finalise the Liverpool sale yet?

Oct 15, 2010 12:47 PM ET #486 (permalink)

Almost. The judge lifted the retraining order that some Texan lawyer tried to place on the buyers because the club is in England. I don't know if that Singapore billionaire is gonna keep trying to purchase them though.

Side note, QPR - Norwich tomorrow... COME ON YOU R'S!!!

Tell a lie. The sale has been finalised. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/liverpool/9094283.stm

Thanks. Well i'm sure we'll be hearing more from Hicks and Gillett over the damages they want.

Funny last lines in the article, "Liverpool, who face Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday, are in the bottom three in the Premier League table after picking up only six points from their opening seven games."

A sad fact that they're there.

Oct 15, 2010 1:05 PM ET #488 (permalink)

It's amazing, I wouldn't have predicted it. If they had continued to try and block the sale they would have been deducted nine points too.

Oct 15, 2010 1:23 PM ET #489 (permalink)

True. Well we've gotta wait and see what happens next. You think they're going to drop anyone?

Oct 16, 2010 7:34 PM ET #490 (permalink)

really hate Liverpool, its fans and players... would have loved to see them go into administration and cease to exist after 1 year of lower league football..

ah well, guess i can always hope n pray that Arsenal end up that way.

Looking at where Liverpool is in the league, I think I'll be following hockey more this season. My HIFK are leading the table here in Finland and Stars are not doing badly in NHL either.

Oct 17, 2010 11:58 AM ET #493 (permalink)

And they've down in the table after losing their big derby today. I reckon if things continue this way, Mr. Hodgson will be let go.

Oct 17, 2010 8:42 PM ET #494 (permalink)

Hmmm these teams are just making me not interested in this season. And Jackrum a Liverpool fan but not an Arsenal fan. lol

Oct 18, 2010 6:23 AM ET #495 (permalink)

I'd find it really funny if Liverpool were relegated this season and QPR went up because three of my cousins support Liverpool and when we were kids I was always getting teased about how much better Liverpool were doing. What can I say? I'm petty!

Oct 19, 2010 11:22 AM ET #496 (permalink)

Haha! Well you've got alot to trouble them about from what happened with the Everton match. lol
Everton 2, Liverpool-0!

Oct 19, 2010 11:52 AM ET #497 (permalink)

Well, I guess the ONLY good thing I can say about Liverpool right now is "at least it cannot get any worse than this".

I saw only the highlights of the Everton - Liverpool match, waiting for the Liverpool highlights. There weren't any.

Oct 19, 2010 12:02 PM ET #498 (permalink)

Well, at least Liverpool aren't bottom of the table... yet :P

QPR vs Swansea tonight. Can't wait.

Oct 19, 2010 12:05 PM ET #499 (permalink)

Lol You'll have to keep waiting for the highlights for a very long time. lol Itz like they all forgot how to play. :o

The standing now are:
Chelsea,
Man City,
Arsenal,
and Man U.

I'm very interested to see where Rooney goes after turning down an extension with Man United.
