Ghana up 1 againt USA. Come on fellas. Put it together and stay in the cup

First off, I'm really happy for Ghana. They've only been independent for 15 years and are only the third African country to reach the quarter finals. So well done to them.

Second, only a few hours until football war commences. Come on lads!!!

4-1 for Germany then. I think they played great, although England was criminally robbed out of one goal.
The better team won, in my opinion. Germany was absolutely awesome at times!

As angry, embarassed and as cheated as I felt, Germany was certainly the better team. It looks like they'll be playing Argentina next and I hope they wipte the floor with those smarmy bastards. I also hope that ref and his assistants get sacked for not allowing a blatant England goal, better yet, I hope some English boys find them.

Good for Germany.

It's good to see how far alot of the teams went.
I was pretty suprised by New Zealand.

HAA, The Netherlands!!! Have a nice trip home, Brazil.

Well, at least Wilco and I here will be EXTREMELY happy about this one!!

Jul 2, 2010 12:24 PM ET #336 (permalink)

Wilco probably is so drunk right now over the Netherlands victory, that he is in a coma!! hahahahahaha

Jul 2, 2010 12:31 PM ET #337 (permalink)

The better team won and that's that!!!!

Shit man, Brazil being knocked out of the World Cup has really made my day. Plus I got a St. George's Cross for 10p thanks to England being knocked out. Really hope Germany wins tomorrow too.

"Really hope Germany wins tomorrow too".
Now I'm really worried.
Be Careful, mate. You might lose your British passport with that kind of talk...

Wish I could watch the games. How about some updates from those that ARE watching?

I don't think my boss has the same enthusiasm about the world cup as I do so I'll have to pass on watching it while i'm at work, but an update once in a while is something I can pop in and look at and then go back to my dreary tasks... lol.
