I cannot recall if a thread was made for this and I searched the site a bit with nothing, so I've decided to make this thread. Basically, just talk about video games, consoles, etc or anything related. What are some of your favourite games? What game/games are you playing? Right now I'm busy with Batman: Arkham Asylum. It's quite good but Killer Croc pwned me and it's a real bitch getting that guy through the glass trap in the sewer. My favourite game of all time would either have to be Legend of Dragoon or Legend of Legaia. The very early versions of Mortal Kombat were insurmountably awesome as well. Currently playing Blazing Angels and Civilization on the PS3. My Xbox overheated so I had it fixed for $50 and it overheated again so I tossed it. Favorites over the years have been Halo3 (Xbox), Iron Storm (Saturn), Sega Rally Championship (Saturn), Gran Turismo3 (PS2), Warcraft (Saturn), Duke Nukem (Saturn), Doom (PC), Heretic (PC), Centipede (arcade), Tail Gunner (arcade), Jumpman (Commodore64). Thief 4 is gonna be out pretty soon. That's gonna be badass! My favorites are : Thief: Deadly Shadows (Highly recommended. Metalheads will dig the cynical protagonist), Warcraft 3 and the expansion, The Legacy of Kain series, Heretic 2, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, Diablo 2 & expansion, God of War & the sequel and the greatest game EVER. EVER. No contest--->; Planescape: Torment. I like violent, story-oriented games with fantasy elements. Coolest thing is, almost all of these games can have Metal soundtracks and they won't feel outta place. |

my favorite for the past year is rainbow 6 vegas 2. i wish they would put out another one or at least some new maps. currently playing resistance 2. |

The game i've been playing lately has to be Modern Warfare 2. Unless guitar hero/rockband counts, cause those are just fun. I also can't wait for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Looks absolutely AMAZING. |

Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros, duh. I reallllly want to get Fallout 3, but I'm not going to drop $40-$60 on any video game. I don't even own a game system of any kind, I just play whatever games my brothers have on theirs. |

I recently dusted off the old PSX and I've been having great fun with that. Going through Metal Gear Solid, Spiderman, GTA: London and a few others has been a blast. Unfortunately I don't own any of the current generation consoles. I'd love a PS3 though just for GTA IV, Batman and MGS4. I know alot of people complained about GTA IV but when I played it at a mates I couldn't get enough of it. I wish the expansions were on the PS3 though. |

Dude I am near the end of Batman: Arkham Asylum (yeah I've been playing it a lot lol) and it was a pretty darned good game. I still have to get all the Riddler trophies afterward but still, I must say it's a real blast playing this game. If you've played the new Prince of Persia, you'll notice significant similarities between the two games, but this game definitely has some things about it that really makes it stick out. There really is some heart-pounding moments, and I swear whenever I hear a sudden sound, whether in the game or not, my heart jumps out of my chest (well not literally but you get the point). I should do a review of this game when I'm completely done :) I think the Scarecrow puzzles really fucked with me the most. |

Inferno: Batman was one of the best games I've ever played, it was just awesome. A couple of my favorite games are Fable, Rainbow Six Vegas 2(the terrorist hunt is SO addicting), Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2(mission mode will fvck you over man, lol), CoD: WaW for the nazi zombie mode, obviously Brutal Legend, any WWE game, Madden, Starcraft(I can't wait for Starcraft 2), Mass Effect, I mean the list goes on & on. Oh & I got Assassin's Creed 2(it's an awesome game) & CoD: MW2(the multiplayer is so addicting). |

Been talkin on facebook about games with Nothinghead and Psythe, so I figured I would use my +666 healing rune to rez this thread. Fact: SKYRIM IS THE GREATEST GAME EVER MADE. come at me bro. Also, Batman Arkham city is great fun, I beat the game and its only like 30 % done, because theres still so much shit left to be done. The Riddler, Deadshot, Zzsaz, the Mad Hater, Killer Croc and Bane arent in the main story line at all, and you might not run into them throughout the whole game. Imagine Assassins Creed, Metal Gear Solid, and badass Batman shit all put together. Boom son. Also, MW3 is the shit, but Ive only played it twice, since SKYRIM came out two days later, so I dont feel at liberty to just shout my opinion without prompting. :P aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnd Saints row Three comes out in a few days I think. If you dont know why this is important, then you must think its still a GTA clone. Saints row grew up, and if atomic unstoppable explodng ATV's dont catch your interest, then maybe...purple dildo swords will.

^Y'know what the crazy part is? Everyone online was always joking how they would play the game while listening to Amon Amarth. That sounds just dandy and downright perfect right? No one does. There's no need, the music in the game is exaggeratedly epic by itself. You'll pick up a piece of bread and suddenly, TRUMPETS AND CHOIR SHOUTING FOR NO FUCKING REASON. Dont even get me started on the dragon encounters. You'll just be walking somewhere, and you dont even have to see or hear the dragon, but you know there's one comin up on your punkass because the already epic music suddenly takes a hit of the crack pipe so there's no doubt that shits about to go down. |
