any advice would be greatly appreciated
i am a vocalist for a melodic death metal/ metalcore band. tomorrow is the biggest show thats been booked in a while and...because this is my luck... i have strep throat. it started wed. after practice, so i went home took some vitamin c and relaxed. it got soo much worse. so as soon as the docs opened on thurs i went and got my antibiotics, nasal spray, ear drops etc, all together about 30 bucks worth of meds after my insurance covered most of it. ive kicked the fever, my slight ear ache is gone and ive been taking meds on a strict regiment. my throats feeling slightly better, not as sore but still inflamed. any remedies, advice as to what can be done would be greatly appreciated. the show must go on yes, but ive worked so hard on getting the tone i want i dont want to go out there screeching, especially since this is only my second show...ever.

Obviously I'm a bit late to this party. Hope your show went well, but honestly there wasn't a hell of a lot anyone could have done for you a day before your show. I've played shows with fever and chills before and once with strep as well. The ole herb tea with lemmon honey never hurts, but i'm sure you were all over that anyway.
