Hey guys. I'm trying to use Kickstarter to fund the debut album for my hard rock/metal project Evolution's End. If anyone is interested in pledging, there's some great rewards in store for you. Thanks!

Good luck! I've always thought crowdfunding is a cool idea, but it's no silver bullet for a band without an album and sizable fanbase.

Yeah it's not a bad idea really for smaller bands, would free them from labels if they wanted to just put out an album. Like the recent successful kickstarters though (Wasteland 2 etc.), it's like a pre-order for something you believe will be great, and the most important thing there is a track record of making great things.
