new metal bands are they now influenced by older metal bands

are new metal bands still learning from the old school
metal bands
like metallica likes saxon and motor head and diamond head

but what about lamb of god or some other metal bands

I think some of them do to some extent. For example my old band was just as influenced by Budgie as we were by Sepultura. Plus there's a resurgance in bands playing traditional heavy metal with such acts as Crowning Glory and Cauldron.

do think so to many bands are influenced by the new wave of british heavey metal

wonder what ever happend to raven
