They're sort of like classical music meets black metal - not sure if that fits your bill. Now normally I'd just say symphonic black metal and be done with it, but they sound so idiosyncratic compared to the typical Dimmu Borgir formula it's not fair to them. I highly suggest reading through the lyrics (more like stories) as you listen to them though, because that's the X-factor.

Now Playing: Municipal Waste - "12 Step Program"

Sounds interesting at least. Unique too, which is always a plus.

I bought several albums today, including the latest Anathema record, "Weather Systems." I really enjoyed it. Lush melodies and generally quite a beautiful sound to go with the lovely artwork (which is something I really like about Anathema.) I've just started listening to the new Skunk Anansie album, "Black Traffic," which I also bought today along with the "Ill Manors" album by Plan B.

Cool. I got the version with the bonus DVD because it was only £1 extra. Well worth it too, plenty on there.

Skunk Anansie - Spit You Out. One of my favourite songs on the album simply because the chourus catches me out every time. Possibly album of the year for me.
