Muse- The United States of Eurasia Really getting into expansive and moody shit lately, with the occasional hint of massive heaviness mixed in. (the new Gojira, Muse, Serj Tankians solo stuff, Ihsahn) Its making it hard for me to get into the new Kreator and Rumpelstiltskin Grinder albums, which are awesome, but Im just not at all in the mood for. I'm a real Muse fan but I've never sunk my teeth into "The Resistance", guess I should some time. I've been playing the new Rush non-stop lately, it's really good. Especially the track "Carnies"! Classic. Anathema - "A Dying Wish" ...there's just something magical about the apex of this song, the tempo build up is brilliant. |

Poison - look what the cat dragged in. I've been playing my 80's hair metal playlist on MOG to death - feeling the nostalgia and wanting something more light and familiar lately. |

The Resistance is fantastic. Their Queen and just general classical influence shines through harder on this release than anything else theyve made, and its exactly what Ive been in the mood for. And its a release I was already familiar with and had listened to and enjoyed in the past, but its just now really clicking casue of the mood im in, and its damn good. Now Playing: Gojira- Path of Obsolesence |

Moonspell - "Spring of Rage" Great album, Moonspell were one of the first extreme bands I ever listened to when I was a kid and they're still kicking ass. |

Bal Sagoth - "Into The Silent Chambers Of The Sapphirean Throne - Valley Of Silent Paths" Those damn Brits, man it has been a long while that an album put a stupid grin this big on my face and I have no idea why. Just in one of those good music moods... |
