You'll need about 3-5 chillis, depending on the size. Select the type of chilli for use (if you are a seasoned chilli eater, I suggest selecting a few different types of chilli for a nice subtle blend) depending on your spice tolerance levels, but remember: if it doesn't make your forehead sweat, it's just a capsicum (peppers in the US). Dice all of these very finely onto a plate, along with some crushed and diced parsley (make sure to mix it all up). Leave to the side for a moment. Take about 50 mls of Wasabi sauce and 100 mls of lemon juice, pour into a bowl together and give it a quick swish. Personally, I like to add a little bit of rosemary to the mix, but you can decide whether or not to do that. Take the sauce bowl, and pour evenly over the plate of diced chillis as though you were marinating them. You should have enough sauce to just cover the chillis. Once you have your chilli/parsley plate nicely covered in your wasabe/lemon juice sauce, motorboat the plate.

psythe: Wow, that sounds tasty.

It's still nice outside, so I made stuffed pork chops and grilled them, then covered them with habanero sauce for a nice little kick.

I fried some chicken, and had some Au Gratin potatoes with green beans.

Fuck, all this talk of chili is making me want a frito pie. Unfortunately it's too late to go on a grocery run.

Nothing for me. I haven't been hungry in a couple days...

I went to the store earlier and they had turkeys on sale, so I bought one and made it for dinner. Plenty of leftovers for turkey sandwiches. :) Yum.

Taco soup again. Just when I think I'm tired of it, the batch turns out better than normal.

I'm pretty sure you have to be 21 and over to eat me. I think my blood alcohol levels have been deemed by the government as well over the legal levels for underage folks. *LOL*

So Kali, are you going to be little Suzy Homemaker now or what?

Nov 16, 2009 12:27 PM ET #142 (permalink)

*dies laughing* F*ck no, AP! You kidding me? I am the worlds luckiest brides ever! My fiance does not expect me to be bear foot and prego, or anything like that. Though, I do cook for Sven way more than I have for any of my ex's. Mainly because I actually deem him worthy of the work. In fact I might make us steak, and pasta with red wine for drinks. Mmmmm!

I made myself a big, juicy steak last night before going to the bar, and tonight I think I'm going to make up some egg rolls and crab rangoons, I'm in the mood for Chinese. It would go well with a tasty little Asian woman, but I may have to go without, lol.

Made Chinese again last night. Man those egg rolls are killer. A Laotian woman that my dad works with makes them, and I'd cut off my right arm for a couple dozen and some crab rangoons, no joke.

I grilled up a good, old-fashioned cheeseburger tonight. Simple, yet tasty.

Am I the only one who uses this thread anymore? lol.

I made some home made fried chicken, mashed taters and home made gravy (nice and hot thank you) and some brussel sprouts (which most people hate but I find to be rather tasty).

Nov 25, 2009 1:16 PM ET #147 (permalink)

Last night we had dirty rice with potatoes and green beans.
