LOL if you kill someone with an apple hahah - I'm clearly not getting through here hahahah

Sep 6, 2009 1:06 PM ET #27 (permalink)

Maybe not an apple, but a friend of mine made a bludgeoning instrument out of a pineapple, and thats a perfect idea. Honestly, imagine that police report:

"I was assaulted by this guy"
"What weapon did he assault you with"
"A fucking pineapple"
"..."

A fucking pineapple...lol that's awesome. I have a small fetish for strange/creative weapons. Lots of people keep crowbars or baseball bats in their cars for protection. Well, I have the bat, but I also have a billiards ball in a tied tube sock.

For the record, most of our schools are nowhere near underfunded, just poorly run. Many of the worst schools in the country have the most money thrown at them. It's easy to throw stones Psythe when you don't live in the glass house.

Sep 7, 2009 1:02 AM ET #30 (permalink)

hey natsquatch, a crown royal bag is better than the tube sock. way more durable!!!!

"It's easy to throw stones Psythe when you don't live in the glass house." - hahah, nicely said, I like that :)

It's true, as I said, I don't really know what I'm talking about, and all my opinions are probably completely retarded. That's the power of media in modern society tho, I guess - it can make us believe any damn rubbish it spews at us.

As for being beaten with a pineapple, I'm pretty sure there would be no police involved. I wouldn't have the balls to call em hahah.

brandedcfh420: You totally just perfected a common makeshift weapon! Natsquatch and myself must take note of this. The Crown Royal bag is fucking GOLD!

Oh yeah, another [similar] good improv weapon: Take a t-shirt and twist it so it takes a rope-like form. Then, make a tight and reasonably huge ball knot in the center. The knot, when done right, replaces any round/heavy object you could put in a sock. And trust me, me and a friend tested these on each other, they fucking hurt. We learned this trick from a guy who was a bouncer in New York.

(Off the record, the former bouncer was also a really funny dude to watch a movie with in the theater. We were watching "Alien vs. Predator" when it came out. There's a part where one of the characters was gonna open some alien chest of some kind and the woman goes "Don't open that." The guy asks why, and the next thing I hear is this fucker yelling out "Its the Predator's porno stash!" in the theater. I died from laughter that day.)

Another good [simple] weapon: Those "Double-dong" dildoes. Make sure its at least 12 inches. Get the 18-incher if you want to really put a hurting on someone. But trust me, the 12-inchers do fine too. Its a melee weapon of the same calibur as the pineapple, mostly because once again, your victim won't have it in him to even file that report:

"I'd like a report an assault with a potentially deadly weapon"
"What weapon did the assailant use?"
"...A 12-inch dildo"
"...*muffled laughter*"

AND YES, ME AND A FRIEND DID PRANK OUR FRIENDS BY BEATING THEM WITH DILDOES! IT WAS $60 (total for both the 12-inch and the 18-inch) WELL SPENT!

Sep 7, 2009 3:29 PM ET #33 (permalink)

lmao, pineapples and dildos.. That's rich. And for the record, I don't believe spending that much money on the military has a real positive effect on this nation either.

metaheaddrummer101, you are so right...Actually, fuck world leader, Chuck was like the reincarnation of Christ. If Chuck turned out to be the son of God or something, I'd totally believe it.

To be honest, I think our education system is plain fucked up. I do believe a lot are under funded, but some of that probably is missappropriation of the funds they do get.

Bruce Dickinson......World Leader? I think not. Way 2 much common sense 4 the average fuckin boo boo bear.
Plus got a good thing going. Why become part of that fuckin abortion!!!

Now on 2 the other shit that ended up on this thread.

Guns- For all the anti gun fuckers. Would it make you feel better if all the people killed by guns were thrown out a fuckin High-rise building window? What I'm saying is that even if we did not have guns we would still find a way to kill.
Me I would much rather choke the fuck out of someone. Lets you watch them take their last breath. Plus your the last thing they see before they fuckin DIE!!!!

Schools- What can I say? AP1 and DeathInEye hit it right on the mark. Kudos on the Gov for keeping them stupid.

Ted Nugent- Likes 2 hunt a lot. So Fuckin What??

Stupid Weapons- NO.2 Pencils stuck in the throat and snapped off !!!!!!!

But then again what the fuck do I know? I'm sitting here commenting on this thread!!

I think you're underestimating the value of convenience. No, guns didn't make killing exist. Guns made killing easier, and therefore more prevalent. Back in the Middle Ages you had to be tough and fit in order to do your killing. Now any couch potato can kill anyone.

Note: I'm technically anti-any violence, but I'm not stupid. I know it happens, and it will continue to happen. That doesn't mean I have to support it.

Sep 8, 2009 6:09 PM ET #40 (permalink)

DIE: I'm not so sure I can say with confidence that killing is more prevalent. Once one normalizes the data and accounts for population increases and considers the alarming rate at which people were poisoned back in the middle ages-early 1900's one may be surprised at how close the numbers are. I for one was oblivious as to how many peole died from poisoning until recently.

yeah peopel the middle ages were for cool dudes like the vikings
they uses axes and swords to kiil someone in hand to hand combat
they had more fun in killing and they got the women on the end

nowadays if you kill someone nobody likes it and some judge wiil put you in jail
unless his name is judge dredd he kicks you ass

for all the gun hatters there is not a beter feeling than kill a deer and eat it
my vote uncle ted for president

PESTILENCE makes a valid point. Even if guns weren't available, we'd kill each other in other ways. Yes, guns make killing more convenient, but it also makes defending yourself more convenient too.

DIE, I'm actually pro-violence. I'd rather kill the man who wronged me than wait on the justice system.

Sep 8, 2009 11:38 PM ET #43 (permalink)

^^ \m/\m/ !!!!!

FUCK THE JUSTICE SYSTEM !!!!!!

Thank you GORECUNT for the Pro-Violence Stance.

I'm with DIE on the killing thing. But you all knew that.

So in all the universe we can see and have explored (not much in relation to the whole thing, but still a pretty fuckin massive amount of space) we havn't yet found another planet with intelligent life on it. Or even, as far as I'm aware, multi-celled organisms. We've -POSSIBLY- found single celled organisms, I think. So basically, as far as we know, we are the only sentient, self-aware life in the universe... What was that you were saying about killing ourselves being a GOOD thing? Sure, I think some people are stupid, I think some people are wrong, I think the human race would be better off if some people died. But killing ourselves just doesn't seem to me to be the answer.

The whole violence thing, in my opinion, is something of a caveman attitude to life that, though no longer relevent in modern times, we havn't quite been able to outgrow yet. We no longer need violence to garner our food, instead we cultivate it. We don't need violence to protect ourselves from predators, instead we cage them and make a tourist attraction of them. We are our only real predators in this day and age, and the only reason we would use violence against ourselves is to assert oneself as the 'alpha male' - but to take that so far as to kill someone I would say is completely unnecessary.

The other reason for using violence against ourselves is when we are in a desperate situation. But if we swapped all our guns for bags of apples, and spent all that weapons money on producing apples instead of guns... Well, I'm unsure as to what we could be desperate about. Violence, to me, is outdated and irrelevent, and is only a part of the modern psyche due to primal instincts which linger on though they are no longer necessary.

Also, I'm cold. Where my jumper at?

psythe, while I respect your opinion and wish the world was like that, it isn't. And so long as there are people such as yourself who'd rather replace the gun with an apple, there are gonna be people who'd rather take a gun and rob you of those apples. In which case, I'll choose both apples and guns, so that way I can be productive, and on top of that, I don't have to worry about who takes my apples.

Sep 9, 2009 11:04 AM ET #46 (permalink)

Some people are alive simply because it's illegal to kill them...

Sep 9, 2009 12:06 PM ET #47 (permalink)

I'm with psythe on this one, ideally. If only the world were really like that. It'd be nice if violence wasn't around.

Your post is a great in theory and I wish we were like your country in that respect, but the USA is a different story.
Violence is embedded in our history! If not for violence, we would still be a limey colony swearing allegiance to the King of England. Also, the American justice system is broken and has been for decades. Rapists and murderers get liberal attorneys that make the case that their clients are victims and they either get them off or the rapist/murderer is sentenced to jail and placed in protective custody because the criminals already inside the jails are the only ones with the balls to give those monsters the punishment they deserve.
I believe 100% in the old "eye for an eye" philosophy- that is true justice.

Oh, yeah, sorry guys I forgot to mention that I was talking completely in ideals and theories. God knows it wouldn't be practical in our current situation to just chuck all our guns in the ocean and eat apples. The militant terrorists would still hate us, and as a rich, developed country, we have a responsibility to help other countries in times of crisis (via peacekeeping missions and so on). So, no, I don't think it would be smart to disband our militaries. I just like the idea, is all.

Although, if you do think it's a nice theory, a nice ideal, I can only suggest that it will stay a nice theory until we act on it and work to make a change. Until we actually try to make it reality, it's only ever going to be a theory about which we will continue to say, "Wouldn't it be nice if..."
