"I love BFMV"

Taken straight from Crushem's profile: "None of that emo screamo sh#t, leave that for kiddies that just don't know any better"

May 8, 2011 1:05 PM ET #52 (permalink)

Hey, I guess there are exceptions to every rule lol. Although I don't consider bfmv screamo.

May 9, 2011 10:15 AM ET #53 (permalink)

they aren't, crushem. ironman's just being a douche. i'm not defending them, just stating a fact.

How is Circus Of Dead Squirrels a confession? I love that band. They do electric industrial metal. Interesting stuff. And I love The Offspring. That's one of the few good punk bands that's still around. I never really liked Blink-182 or Greenday, but The Offspring are still good.

But yea BFMV are a modern UK metal band. Sort of thrash too. I don't see screamo in them at all. I don't really understand why no one likes them. They have some good players in the band and the songs are catchy. Maybe it's the dudes vocals. I bet if they were heavier, or he at least sang more songs in his heavy vocals it'd be better. But I don't know.

CODS shouldn't be but I've heard too many people rip on them for some reason. Same w/The Offspring. I dunno why.

I love BFMV!

I'm just a douche.

Damn really? That sucks. I love them. I haven't seen anyone talk bad about 'em. Everyone I know likes them. Oh well. I never really hear anyone talking about The Offspring though. But I still like them..

ALOTTA ppl here on MU dislike bullet dude, and aren't very fond of 90's punk, but i like both also. seen bullet live 3x's and i've missed offspring =\

I think they came out with a new album in like 2008. The Offspring I mean. It's pretty good. It sounds exactly like their old stuff which I like so it's all good.

But nah I don't care if people don't like Bullet, I've seen tons of people here dislike Bullet. Haters gonna hate lol. I like them so it's really whatever. I was talkin' about Circus Of Dead Squirrels. Good industrial band that gets overlooked in my opinion. They're funny as hell too. Elmo's Last Laugh shows that. Music video is great. You should look it up n0thing. I don't know if you like industrial but if you do you might like 'em.

Ya know I've never really given NIN a proper listen which is funny because I've met Robin Finck and got his autograph. I need to actually sit down and listen to them. They're good I know that and I have respect for them. I've just never really gotten into them. Any recomendations dude?

May 13, 2011 4:45 PM ET #62 (permalink)

it rlly depends dude. EVERY SINGLE album is so different. i would suggest first listening to 'the downward spiral' in its entirety. it's the one that has their world famous single "closer". also, quite possibly the most diverse record i've ever heard in my life, 'the fragile'. simply incredible. AFTER u've heard those 2 records fully, and garnered some feel for them, THEN we can talk lmao

May 15, 2011 6:17 AM ET #64 (permalink)

And I better get this out the way: I have Lady Gaga's single "Judas" on my iPod. I dig it.

I see...

Well, no new confessions as of yet...

Jun 1, 2011 12:56 PM ET #70 (permalink)

i've randomly found myself listening to very random chilling, mellowed-out electronic music like lcd soundsystem, phoenix, and others. but mostly trip hip like massive attack, but they're awesome, and so is mute math.

I just listening to LCD and they're pretty good n0thing. I've actually been listening to a lot of dubstep recently.....I've finally let myself like it I guess. A lot of those beats are hard a fuck. Since I like rap I can hear dudes rap on some beats in my head.
Jenova Project by Datsik. That song is kinda mellow for dubstep.

Jun 2, 2011 10:37 AM ET #72 (permalink)

another one to add to the chilling-ness is pretty lights. not bad.

dubstep IS the rap of techno lmao there's actually A LOT of dubstep artist that rap or have rapper in their songs. especially english (from england) rappers, so it sounds amazing.

caspa - "where's my money" (not much rap but u can't go wrong with caspa)
chase & status (thnx oz) are fucking awesome. a bad ass song is "heavy" featuring rapper, dizzee rascal
^^^ c&s remixed a song that's by dizzee rascal's called "sirens", amazing remix
sukh knight - "ganja dub" (the most incredible weed song i've heard in a long time)
skrillex (very poppy dubstep since he mixes house and a little trance, BUT his rlly dirty beats are nasty as fuck!!) - "scatta" (featuring foreign beggars & bare noize)

enjoy ;)

Jun 2, 2011 11:24 AM ET #73 (permalink)

Yeah dubstep is massive over here. It's actually much bigger than Hip-Hop (bar the commercialised shit like Eminem, N-Dubz etc.) Practically every night in my town there's a dubstep DJ playing.

Jun 2, 2011 12:16 PM ET #74 (permalink)

I hate Dubstep...so much

Jun 2, 2011 1:28 PM ET #75 (permalink)

Dubstep is cool beans with me dudes. I really love the part of the song that goes like "womp womp womp womp wompwompwomp womp womp". That part is always totally rad bro.
