Bands like Mr.Bungle and Dog Fashion Disco faded out before they got the recognition they deserved and I don't think any other band is pushing the limits quite as convincingly as those bands did. Out of the gazillion Patton projects only a few come close to the fuckin badassness of the Bungle. So, basically, this is a place to discuss left-of-center metal stuff and recommend them. My personal recommendation is the band Diablo Swing Orchestra from Sweden. I'm jut getting into them and I already think they are fuckin phenomenal. Oh, and they've got a song called "Rag Doll Physics". How fuckin cool is that, huh? |

Dog Fashion Disco!! Diablo Swing Orchestra!! Holy shit I somehow managed to forget all about those bands! :( :( Thanks for reminding me :) :) And yeah, Bungle was always my favourite Patton project... followed closely by Tomohawk. |
