Alls been quiet from us since our trip over to China but rest assured we've been working hard on writing for the next album. There's still lots more writing to do but we have a positive start with a very dark sound.

Coming up we have Derby's Bloodstock Festival. We will be playing on Sunday 15th August.

Just Confirmed - The Prophecy will be hosting three gigs for Maltease doom mongers Nomad Son in Feb 2011.

Formed in 2006 with links to well known Maltease doom band Forsaken the band bring a mixture of doom and groove with vibes of candlemass, pentagram and trouble. On the live front the band have performed at Germany's Doom Shall Rise Festival, BSR Festival in Portugal and warm up shows at Headbangers open air as well as extensive tours across Europe. Recognised at the 2009 MFCC music awards in Malta , The band's second album 'The Eternal Return' was released last month

All dates will also have support from Wakefield's Iron Void

11th Feb 2011 - The Old Bell - Derby
12th Feb 2011 - Doomsday IV Fest - The Snooty Fox - Wakefield
13th Feb 2011 - The Gaff - London

THE PROPHECY are currently booking dates for 2010/2011 and will be announcing further dates soon
