Christ, bit of a wait then. I like Ike too. I admire any man who can see beyond the boundaries of partisan rhetoric. That's an interesting view on McCain. I don't think anyone expected him to pick Palin and I doubt many praised him for it except for maybe the more extreme side of the party for lack of a better word. To me, McCain as a person is worthy of respect for what he went through in Vietnam (though I've never believed a war record automatically makes a great leader,) and for his dissatisfaction with heavy negativity in campaigning, which as you said, was kinda forced on him. American presidents have always fascinated me to be honest. The elections in general do. It's interesting to see a country where a lot of people will genuinely believe in a candidate rather than the British attitude of "Ehhh, fuck it, that one doesn't seem quite as much of a prick.) I honestly voted in my first election by doing eeny meeny miny mo, I was so apathetic. I would say that over here, Jeremy Corbyn has brought that feeling back to British politics. Hundreds of thousands of people have joined the Labour Party since his leadership contention (which he won with over 60% of the vote between four candidates, possibly more) and for the first time since Tony Blair first ran (less said about him, the better,) people really feel like there's a candidate who will actually deliver on his promises and stand firm in his beliefs, because he's been doing it for thirty years. |

How's it going mate? Hope matters get sorted soon. Hit me up on Twitter if you want to talk about shit. Today is the first time in three years I've written news on April 1st. I'll have to "find" some more. Got two more interviews confirmed for this month, all of which I plan to video and post. Got some real legends lined up! |

Got two interviews with two great bands tomorrow. Pretty nervous because 1) I have to film it myself (never ask a hippy to help out) and 2) One of them was last minute so I have to do as much research as I can on two hours sleep. |

Good luck Oz! (screw them hippies...) |

Good luck, Oz! Do we have to wait to find out which bands r getting the old 'diamond treatment' or can u let slip? As a hippy myself, I apologize on behalf of my clan, we are not technologically inclined. |

Nice Oz. Tell Elsworth BG said Sup fucker? Last time they were here, it was Lipnicki's birthday so Verni sent a roadie down to the hardware store for white chalk. They started the show and when Lipnicki hit his snare his whole face was covered in white chalk. XD |

Great interviews! Although u should reconsider hiring that hippy for filming ;) I saw Vader in 2014 in Cyprus and they were a very tight group, really impressive! As a finale, they did 'Raining Blood' with some members of the support bands, brilliant! Looking forward to that interview! |

Haha don't worry, she's handling the shooting tomorrow! Thank you, I'm pleased with the interviews if not the picture quality lol. I'm really excited about seeing Vader. Long been one of my favourite death metal bands. Speaking of favourites, I saw Rotting Christ have waited until I decided to leave the country before coming to the UK! Hopefully there's a south east Spanish show. |

Vader is pretty awesome too. Think I caught them with Krisiun a few years back. Guitarist was a really nice guy. |

Sweet! I've been wanting to see Krisiun for years too. Got 4 more interviews lined up for next week: Korpiklaani, Moonsorrow, Butcher Babies and most excitingly, Udo Dirkschneider. |

So u made the big move then oz? How r u liking it so far? Perhaps you can ask Butcher Babies how it was to your with Danzig? They may know a thing or two about having their videos muted for viewers to enjoy their boobilicious offerings?! |

Hahaha! I'm sure the answer to at least one question will be, "My face is up here." I've not gone to Spain just yet, but I'll be off in 3 weeks. I'm in sophisticated Swindon atm, seeing family and friends and dancing with my niece to Zorba's Dance lol. |

What a sight to behold! Your inner monologue during that interview would certainly be worth transcribing! Is there a fair amount of metal-ness where ur heading? |

I don't know if there's much of a scene but you do get some bands come relatively close. Ratos de Porao are coming to Murcia in June which I'll try and get to and Leyendes del Rock is about an hour away which has some great bands this year like Venom, Anthrax, Tygers of Pan Tang and Skindred. Both interviews today went well. The Bobby Blitz one clocked in at over half an hour. Vader was only five minutes but we didn't have much time and I was basically interviewing the new kid (though he's been in for five years) so topics were limited anyway. |

Yo DJ. Got the Westfield Massacre CD yesterday. I was immediately disappointed because the song Blythe guested on was weak as fuck. It's got a few gems on it, and it's growing on me but not nearly as hard hitting as I expected it to be. I could easily divide the album up into two albums. One weak attempt at thrashy metalcore, the other DH 2.0. |
