Our weekly column, Unearthing the Metal Underground, was created precisely for this purpose: to showcase underground bands across the globe. In each column, we feature three more underground bands. Look for a new column every Monday or browse the archive.

2. Check Out Our Bands Page

In addition to our band listings, our bands page contains a number of ways to discover new bands, including a random band spotlight, as well as lists of the latest band additions to our database, most underground bands, and browsing by country. I guarantee there are quality metal bands in countries you didn't even know had a metal scene. With thousands of bands cataloged, you can't NOT discover some new bands.

3. Read Our News Every Day

It may be a lot to digest, but we post tons of heavy metal news every day, including news on tours, new music, new videos and even free music downloads from established and underground bands.

4. Read Our Reviews

Our knowledgeable reviewers review metal of all styles here, from mainstream to underground metal, including unsigned bands. Lately, we review at least one album a day, and often post two or three reviews a day.
