After a solid year of touring, After the Burial picks up in 2012 by joining up with Whitechapel for the "Recorruptour," which kicks off on March 10th. This trek, presented by Alternative Press, MerchNow and Rockstar Energy, also features Miss May I and The Plot In You with Structures and Within The Ruins on certain dates.
Justin Lowe (guitars) states: “We're all super happy to announce that we are going to quit drinking for a couple days and write a new album. There is no telling what it is going to sound like, because it is hasn't been recorded yet. However, one thing we can say, is that it will be an AFTER THE BURIAL album because we will be the ones performing on the record, and that is the name of our band. Ok, now seriously!
"We are really excited to have the opportunity to get back into the studio to complete a new album by early next spring. It will be just in time for us to hit the road with our friends in Whitechapel. We'll be doing the usual pre-production videos here and there, so make sure you stop by our Facebook page here for plenty of updates. See you all soon.”

Structures was scheduled to be on a U.S. tour with Born of Osiris and Veil of Maya, but the band recently issued the following update about missing part of the tour:
"A little bit of bummer news: unfortunately Nick became very sick with a flu & tonsil infection towards the end of our headline tour with Counterparts, luckily we were able to finish this. HOWEVER we are having to miss out on the beginning of the Born Of Osiris discovery tour for an undetermined amount of time until Nick fully recovers. We wish we could be a part of the dates we will miss and promise to play for all of you very soon. We will be touring a LOT in 2012. Please wish Nick well, he is feeling very shitty."
